Windscreen cover may differ from provider to provider but, at its most basic, it pays out if your windscreen is damaged and needs to be repaired or replaced. Your windscreen is usually covered under your comprehensive car insurance policy but separate cover will pay to repair your windscreen without claiming on your car insurance.
